sound blster problem

Hi all,

I try to Install my sound-card (creative SB-16) but with no success!

I compile the kernel with the fallowing modules:
<M>   OSS sound modules  
<M>     100% Sound Blaster compatibles (SB16/32/64, ESS, Jazz16) support  

I edit modules conf :

but when I run "xmms" I got an error message, and nothing work.

question:
1) where is my problem ? (or where I can look for it) ?
2) How ales I can test my sound-card ?

if any one can help me It will be grate!
