Unallocated Requested Partition

Hi,

I'm a new Linux user and I'm trying to install RedHat Linux 7.1 on my WinMe
system. But when I run the installation it tells me that the automatic
partitioning can't be done. So I used Disk Druid to do the partitioning.
But even with that I can't create partitions. It says there is not enough
space. My Hard Drive is 60GB. I understand that Linux can't work on HDs
bigger than 8GB and I read some of your solutions but I really didn't
understand them. So if someone could explain it in a simpler form, I would
be thankful. Also keep in mind, I don't want to loose anything in my WinMe
system until I'm comfortable with Linux.

Thanks in advance,

Ali
