Changing network settings on a Laptop

Hi everyone,
  Our department has a laptop with RH 7.0 on it.  I use it on the school
network as well as on my home network.  Changing the network settings
everytime I change networks gets old and I usually forget between the
changes.  Does anyone have a great strategy for managing these changes
on this platform?  It would be nice to just execute a script or such
during boot up that would ask a question about which network I'm going
to be on and then just switch the appropriate files.
