Assaf, I had to go out today to spend some time in the beautiful San Francisco summer weather (freezing cold, but I love it in the summer compared to the miserable heat in Silicon Valley!) while taking care of some business. Sorry I missed your messages. Let's see, uh did you make any changes to your kernel? By the way, what kind of keyboard are you running -- PS2, USB, etc.? The service Kudzu rarely has any trouble finding most standard keyboards. Have you gone into the setup command and checked to see if the kudzu service is up? You can also check /var/log/messages to see if kudzu is finding your keyboard. Just a couple suggestions. --Steve Pardee Assaf Spanier wrote: > > hi all, > > I do not know if you read my previous E-mail here. > but I have problrm with my keyboard. in "runlevel 3". > my keyboard work fine on "runlevel 1" but stuck on 3. > > so...I go to "runlevel 1" and start the demon in ../init.d one by one. > and after I start "gpm" demon the keyboard stuck. > If I stop this service (connect the machine via telnet). the keyboard start > to work again. > > any idea ?? > > thanks. > A.Spanier > > _______________________________________________ > Redhat-install-list mailing list > Redhat-install-list redhat com > https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-install-list -- stevevp pacbell net "What... you're crying...there's no crying in baseball...there's no crying in BASEBALL!" --Tom Hanks, A League of their own
