You can consider Red Hat Linux Bible by Christopher Negus by IDG Books.
I think it is a good book for newbie.
It comes with Red Hat Linux 6.1 (Kernel 2.2.10)
The list price is $59.99 Canada ($39.99 USA)
I get it from Costco at about half price - maybe this is only valid in
Canada
