Re: Linux Newbie

		Hi Kevin,

> I'm looking for some places where I can learn Linux.

Your distribution comes with a lot of documentation (see the documentation
CD. If you only downloaded the install images you could just get the relevant
rpm's by ftp. The whole documentation CD contains the same documents in many
languages, so you save yourself some download time by picking the relevant
language(s)). If you installed the howto rpm you should definitely have a look
at the howto's in /usr/share/doc/HOWTO. Same is true for the FAQs.
RedHat used to ship with the network- and system administrator guides (nag &
sag). Not sure if they still do, otherwise you can find these documents at
http://www.linuxdoc.org.
If you are looking for paper books, the only one I know off is "Linux Network
Servers" by Craig Hunt (Network Press/Sybex), which covers most basics of
Linux system administration. Don't expect it to be very in depth though. I am
also not sure if there has been an update since 1999. Things go fast in Linux
land, so expect some parts not to be fully up to date. If you want a good
book, the best thing to do is to go to your local computer book dealer and
browse some books to see what fits your needs best.

					Bye,

					Leonard.
