I have just loaded linux on my PC and I am trying to log into a HP
workstation , and I can get in no problem but
when I try to run an application it gives me the following error.
Failed finding matching visual class
Display depth = 16
Does anybody have any ideas ??
I suspected it may have something to do with mismatch color depths
between the
Hp box and the Linux box and have played with the Xconfigurator to
change the colors from 8 bit to 16 bit etc but I have
not had any success.
