I have an old 486 running red hat 5.2, I would like to upgrade to version 7
which I have the cd's for, while maintaining all the settings, mounts, etc..
I can't boot from the cd, and I want to keep most of the files on my 486.
How can I do this? I have a small network with a newer machine running the
later Linux if that helps. Both linux machines have are connected to Windows
machines which mount the drives of both.
thanks,
David Archer
