Unfortunately it can't be interpreted as anti-trust. It would be like
arguing that your coffee machine should also be able to make bread, or more
similarly, that your 486DX/2 with 8 megs of RAM should be capable of running
RedHat 7.1's installation program (it's not). The drivers are so different,
and the cost of driver programming so large, that it's just not feasible for
many companies.
Have no fear, though. Linux is several steps ahead of Windows. You can't run
apps remotely from your Win machine, after all--you gotta have GNOME for
that. That's definitely one of my favorite features. :)
