Assuming there is an X session already started locally,
now try running xnest through an ssh tunnel.
This will display an xdm login in its own local session
window, giving the user a full session on the remote
server, all through the ssh tunnel.
It will work, but it sure is overkill if you can simply
open an xterm (or any X app) on its own through ssh w/out
the weight of session and screen management. But hey,
everyone has got thier reasons...
