Re: Internal modem how to

Hi,
most internal modems will work just fine under Linux as long as they are
not Win Only Modems.
The best I have found was the 3Com Linux PCI modems. Also I have had success
with Best Data data fax modems in the past.
You will have to check and see if your internal modem is a Win modem, or a
hardware modem.
If your modem is a Win modem you will have to try the Linux Win modem driver
and see if it will work, but it is a hit and miss thing.
