Re: Internal modem how to



Double check if this modem is classified as a Win-modem. These modems are
typically part hardware and part software. Modems of this type have very
little success of running under Linux ( could be wrong). Check
http://www.linuxdoc.org for HOWTOs. Modems which contain the full hardware
are supported.

In regards to the sound card there check to see if sndconfig ( I believe
that is the right program) can detect it. If not check out the alsa
project for a separate set of sound card drivers. Can't remember the site
URL.
