Hi Steve,
I tried ls -l in /usr/src/linux and I got the
following:
[root localhost /root]# cd
/usr/src/linx [root localhost /linux]# ls -l total
12 -rw-r--r-- 1
root 642 Mar 8 2000
README.kernel-sources drwxr-xr-x 2
root 4096 Jun 23 20:23
configs drwxr-xr-x 8 root 4096 Jun
23 20:23 include [root localhost linux]#
I'm considering downloading new kernel sources, I'm
not too sure of what I'm doing when messing around with the kernel so I'd rather
try and get my 2.2.14 kernel working properly.
Anyway what do u make of my output ?
Cheers again
Graeme

Modules]
Graeme,
when you do does it look something like
this?:
COPYING
REPORTING-BUGS include
net CREDITS
Rules.make init Documentation
System.map ipc MAINTAINERS
arch
kernel scripts Makefile
drivers
lib
vmlinux README
fs
mm
This is the contents for the 2.4.5 kernel, but it should look the
same pretty much for any kernel. If not, I would suggest getting a
clean set of sources from www.kernel.com and untar them in your
/usr/src/ directory. Just a couple more suggestions.
