hello friends,
 
 I have recently installed red hat linux 6.2 on my machine. I am facing  some
probs which are:
 
 1.    My machine is connected to external as well as internal network. I 
have only one network card in my machine and I want to bind two IP's to  one
network card. I had tried IP Aliasing. While giving command ifconfig it shows
the aliased interface also viz. eth0, eth0:0 but it doesn't ping the machine
with the aliased IP address
 
 2.    I want to act my linux machine as a proxy server
 
 Can ne one help me in this context. Early reply will be highly appreciated
