Install 7.0 success then failure on boot

All,
	Hello I have installed RedHat 7.0 on a Dell 2300 PowerEdge with and
American Megatrends Perc II Raid Card. The 7.0 OS loads and I receive a
successful installation, then during the boot it displays auto detecting
raid arrays then displays:

Request Module [Block Major 8]: Root FS not mounted
VFS: Cannot Open Root Device 08:01
Kernel Panic: VFS: Unable to Mount Root FS on 08:01

How can I overcome this problem? Any help would be much appreciated.
