Samba and Lokkit

I just installed RH 7.1 and told it high security for a workstation.  I am trying to get Samba to work with my W95 box but it says the Linux host is not found.  After hours of reading manuals, I think the problem is the high security.  More reading found LOKKIT but when I change the security in LOKKIT, it really doesn't change it.  When I look in LOKKIT again, it says I have high security.  Do I have to reinstall 7.1 and tell it medium security to get Samba to work?
