no sound from xawtv

Hi all,

I've just installed xawtv from the redhat 6.2 applications cd.  After
installing it it worked perfectly, sound also.  Unfortunately when I typed
'sndconfig' at the bash prompt the sound from my tv card is non existant.
Is there anyway of undoing sndconfig so that sound on my tv card will work
again ?

I'm using a Hauppauge WinTV pci card and a creative 128 Ensoniq soundblaster
sound card.
