It took a while for me to thank you because I didn't get it right in a
couple of tries. Anyhow everything's working ok right now. I've got a
follow up query (for my info) regarding umasks. I know that the answer is
somewhere buried in the docs but I haven't reached that part yet, if I
ever will. :)
This might be a silly question but here goes anyway -- if a of umask=007
is equivalent to a chmod 770, why don't I just use chmod instead. And
what's a umask for ?
