You might want to try http://www.blackdown.org, the guys who ported Sun's
Java to linux or 

http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/118/linux/?dwzone=java
for IBM's java version 1.1.8 for it's PC's. You can get the tgz version or
the rpm.
