RE: Help me with X window

Well, I'm going assume that you have the files on a microsoft partition on a dual boot machine:
If the filesystem is fat, or fat32 it should go smoothly. If it is NTFS however you will probably have to rebuild the kernel at the minumum.
We need more details. Is it dual boot, and if so what file system are you using on the microsoft side.

Subject: Help me with X window

Hello, I'm a novice in Linux world.
I wasn't still able to configure x-window on my linux rh6.0 so
I can download files to do it by windows system.
Can someone tell me how I can use this files from Linux if I saved it on window filesystem.

Thanks in advance, Alex
