Re: LNE100TX 2



Ahhh, but there's the rub.  You see, there are at least five different
versions of the LNE100TX, using different versions of the tulip chispet.
Apparently, Linksys thought that keeping the name would help sales or
something.  This has caused all kinds of anguish for Linux support teams
as people with "LNE100TX" cards have various happy problems.

The good news is that as of Red Hat Linux 7.1 (the 2.4 kernel, really)
all of the existing versions should be covered.  The bad news is that
given Linksys' track record with this, I think we can probably expect
another version or two before it is all said and done.  It is interesting
though.:)
