Re: Shaky Screen

I had the problem that the lower left corner of my screen was
flickering on a new monitor. The problem: the AC power strip for my
system was located next to the lower left corner of the monitor,
probably exacerbated (wonder I spelled that right!) by the presence of
a DC power supply (probably radiating 60 Hz from a transformer) on the
power strip.
So: remove ALL electrical devices near the monitor.
Hope that helps.

If this isn't it or if it might be something else, please lemmie know. BTW, I read the manual, but I was raised on windows so all these Linux terms....are...well...um... lets just say I feel like a Pilgrim in a strange land ;)
