This is the first chance to say thank you to everyone who has helped
with this problem.   

Having made the changes to lilo.conf that Leonard so carefully
deliniated above and FINALLY remembering that I had to type /sbin/lilo
at the command line, even if I was sitting in the sbin directory <G>, I
have gotten LILO to work.  Yayyyyyyyyy!!! <G>

Now all I have to do is get the firewall set, (BEFORE bringing the
netcard on line) re-compile the driver for the card (it really IS linux
compatible) and I should FINALLY be able to post from linux. <fx=crossed
