check MD5SUMS on burned CDROM?

I could swear I saw something about this, using dd and an appropriate
blocking factor, but I can't find the reference.

If I have an already-burned CDROM and the MD5SUMS, but no longer have
the image files, how can I check the CD against the published checksums?
