There is no problem with LILO booting a logical. The same 1024 cylinder
rules do apply to both primaries and logicals. Windows and DOS, however,
can only boot to primaries. Interestingly, Windows and DOS (except for
NT & 2k) also both have serious issues with the mere existence of other
DOS primaries besides their own.
