More of an NT question

Hi all,
   I'm messing around a bit with eliminating my NT based domain controller
in favor of using a Linux solution, but I've run into a bit of an issue with
NT Workstation itself. My strategy was to let Linux manage a new and
different domain, and then allow the NT Workstations to choose which domain
they wanted to be in at boot or login time. 

   This works, but NT seems to be forcing me to have a different profile for
the same login ID in each domain, where as I want it to be the same profile
no matter which domain I'm in.

   Does anyone know what the solution to this is? (Get rid of NT ....)
