You are in vi. To get the stuff I sent in, just type i for insert, then type
the stuff or copy and paste. When you are finished, press ESC and then :wq
and Enter.

To get some quick help, go to http://www.ourldsfamily.com/whitepapers, and
read the one on common VI commands. It will get you up to speed on the
fundamental commands for vi.
