Re: Dual Booting/Multiple booting and FAT32 partitions

If you can get System Commander to do all the work for you, be happy. I
use Partition Magic for this sort of thing and I frequently make
wholesale rearrangements of didks and partitions. That is not something
I would like to try with LILO.
I have Win2000 and RedHat6.2 and could easily add another Win95 if I
could remember the CONFIG.SYS parameters for reading a CD-ROM :-)

A serious 'gotcha' for Partition Magic that may also apply to System
Commander (comments anyone?)
Partition Magic doesn't like the way Linux tools such as Disk Druid and
cfdisk set up partitions, and will often refuse to read a partition
table created under Linux. (Error #120)

So I use PM under Win2000 to manage ALL partitioning.
I never use cfdisk any more.

You may find SC complains about your Linux partitions. In that case, you
may or may not be willing to reinstall RH7 on SC-created partitions in
order to reap the (huge) time savings of using a tool like SC.
