Ok, now that I have Redhat installed and Gnome set up, I need to migrate
my Contat information out of Outlook and into the Gnome environment.
Outlook has no decent tools for exporting "Contacts" so I exported my
Contacts to CSV comma separated format with the column names at the top of
the file hoping that there would be a tool that would import this format
into an addressbook program.
Netscape 6 has an ASCII import tool but it assumes that all of the columns
have a fixed meaning and does not read the header to determine which
column has what data. Very bad making Netscape addressbooks unusable.
I couldn't find anything else in Balsa or the other mailers.
Does anyone know of a utility that will import Outlook Contacts from PST
files, Excel XLS or CSV comma separated format and produce a Gnom
addressbook or vCards or SOMETHING I can use with Linux?
