Hi all,
I mostly use my Redhat 6.2 laptop on my masqueraded LAN , where it works fine.
I use wvdial to connect to my ISP , on the rare occasions that I carry
the laptop home . It was working ok, until last week, but today I'm having
problems.
PPPD starts OK , but I cannot access the internet, for --- as the logs
reveal ---
wvdial is " not replacing default route to eth0 ( 192.168.1.254 ) " where
192.168.1.254
is the gateway on my office network. How do I get around this ?
In SuSE 6.4 , when wvdial starts PPPD, it automatically replaces the
/etc/resolv.conf
Similarly is it possible to force wvdial to use /etc/ppp/resolv.conf , and
let the /etc/resolv.conf
be used for Lan use ?
Regards
Anurag
