Hi all,
I've installed Postfix, Qpopper and getmail on my RH 6.2 workstation.
Sendmail was replaced by simply renaming its binaries and replacing
them with the postfix binaries . ( The server runs Qmail ( Maildir ) &
the stock pop3d daemon thar ships with wmail )
Qpopper was compiled with the # ./configure --enable-specialauth
I was testing getmail to retrieve mail from the POP3 server on the LAN .
The getmail logs suggest that authentication with the Lan server' s POP3 was
ok and that a ' message xxxxx.3027.mbox ' was retrieved was aborted because
/home/anurag/Mail/inbox was not a Maildir or mbox ( actually as i later
realised
its the Sylpheed directory ) ..
How should I define user mailboxes in 'getmailrc' ? /var/spool/mail is empty .
PS on this machine there are just 2 users , root & myself .
Regards
Anurag
