Hello!
I am trying to reinstall fileutils on my RH 6.0 but can not!
Rpm says "can't rename /bin/ls to /bin/ls-RPMDELETE : Operation not
permitted
unpacking of archive failed on file /bin/ls : cpio : unlink failed -
operation not permitted
The file has permissions 755, owner root, group root according to ls!
Is it corrupted and giving false data?
When I try to do mv to rename it the answer is :
cannot unlink , operation not permitted.
The answer on rm /bin/ls is:
remove write protected file '/bin/ls' ?
After the positive answer the file is not removed!
It answers : cannot unlink
Operation not permitted!
What to do?
Thanks!
