problems with installing Redhat7

Hello there,

I am new to Linux.  I already have Windows Me and OpneLinux2.4 from Caldera 
Systems on my machine on different partitions, but I wanted to try Redhat.  
So I downloaded the iso images and burned them on CDs.  When I try to 
install Redhat, I get to the screen that lets me choose the option of 
installation I want i.e. grahical, text, expert etc.
No matter which opion I choose the installation stops after it probes for 
hardware.  I get sth like

. . .
checking for writeable /tmp... yes
running install...
running /sbin/loader
_

right here it just dies.  By the way Mandrake, and Corel Linux basically do 
the same thing.
