Hi all,
I have 2x9Gb SCSI drives on my RH 6.2 server:
df output :
Filesystem Total(Mb) Available %used Mount pt
/dev/sda3 6048 2233 61 /
/dev/sda1 54 48 6 /boot
/dev/sda4 2506 670 72 /home
'free' output:
Total used free
Mem: 128 79 49
-/+ buf/cache 31 97
Swap 0 137
Under /home I have the :
a) Unix home directories ( 20 users --hardly used )
b) /home/smbtree ( 20 users --)
c) /home/sc_content ; /home/sc_frontend ; /home/sc_graphics
; /home/backend ( Shared SAMBA directories for workgroups )
d) /home/virtual ; /home/virtualssl ( Apache web roots )
I'd like to move b) & c) ..both Samba areas tp /dev/sdb
I'd like to have your suggestions regarding:
i) best utilisation of /dev/sdb and
ii) file system mounting on /dev/sdb
Thanks
Anurag
