Re: umount problem with RH 6.2



As I said. If you have lsof type: "lsof /mnt/cdrom" if you get any output
from it there are open files from the cdrom. Just type kill -9  for the
pid shown. Or if you don't have lsof use "fuser", type "fuser -v -n file
/mnt/cdrom" add -k to automatically kill those pids i.e. "fuser -v -k -n
file /mnt/cdrom". Then try to umount /mnt/cdrom
