Re: one last question on partitioning ;-)



Hi again.

The answer is no. /dev/sda4 will still be the same partition. However
there are some tools that can do what you want. First you have to delete
sda4 from you harddrive to free the space, "fdisk /dev/hda" then at the
prompt type "d" then your partition number "4", then "w" to write the
changes to disk. Check this webpage for the tools you need

But be sure to move your homedata to the new disk first =). And to be
really safe you should do a backup of your entire computer just for
safety.
