This is the third time that I'm posting this problem.
The output of fdisk on my HD (Seagate, 10GB is given below.)
Device Boot Start
End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1
1 128 1028128+
b Win95 FAT32
/dev/hda2 * 129
1245 8972302+ f Win95 Ext'd (LBA)
/dev/hda5
129 511 3076416
b Win95 FAT32
/dev/hda6
512 876 2931831
b Win95 FAT32
/dev/hda7
879 886 64228+
82 Linux swap
/dev/hda8
887 1245 2883636
83 Linux
All the sizes indicated are correct except that of
/dev/hda6. I get only 1.85GB when I mount it, both in Linux and Windoze.
That's more than 1GB short. I did run ScanDisk as suggested but no good.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Steve Fernandez.
