PPP Issues

Hey all,

I just installed Linux Redhat 7.1 on one of my machines (Dell Dimension) 
hoping to turn it into a PPP + DNS + Firewall machine.  While setting up 
PPP I noticed something strange that I've never encountered in the 
past.  None of the modem devices in the Devices list corresponds to what 
I have, which is a PCI based modem.  I tried every device in the list 
and none of them works.

Does Linux support PCI modems?  What do I have to do get this to work?

I have gotten this to work with old versions of SUSE but I'm not certain 
that it was with a PCI bus modem.
