7.2 Upgrade issues

I recently upgraded from 7.1 to 7.2 and after updating the errata info via
up2date, my servers are not able to acquire an IP address from the DHCPD
host.  ifcfg-eth0 has always worked (since redhat 5.something) with
BOOTPROTO=dhcp, but not now.  I was, however, luckily able to capture
NETMASK, NETWORK, BROADCAST, and GATEWAY information from the dhcpc log so
I'm okay now. (The tech support at my ISP of course couldn't supply me with
that information...) Any ideas as to what changed?
