Hi everyone.
Ok, from the subject you must be "what? Does it have a hard disk?"
My problem is that I'm VERY newby and, so, I want to use an older PC for
testing and get evolving and than, use a "decent" PC.
This machine is a P200MMX, 32Mb RAM, 3 Gb HD. The diskette drive was removed
some time ago, to put in another PC, and the CD-ROM drive does not read
burned CD's. So, what have I done? I've copied the installation CD's to
another machine HD, installed an FTP server on that machine, and hoping that
I can boot linux from DOS through "loadlin" an have access to FTP
installation, as on CD-boot. Bad luck. The install loads, but only with HD
or CD installation.
Can anyone help me with this, please?
Thanks
