Yes, but the limiting factor is the installation program, which requires
at least 32 MB with RH 7.2 (also 7?), 16 MB with RH 6.2 and 8 MB with RH
6.0. After the system is installed, it can run with much less RAM. Of
course, if you start XFree, you must be patient...
On some archaeological systems with limited RAM I took the disk out, put
it into machine with more RAM, installed the system on disk, and
reinserted the disk in the original machine. If kudzu detected any new
hardware, I installed the hardware.
