I've splitted my HD, from a new P4 PC running Windows ME, this HD has
40 Gig, I took 20Gigs for installing RedHAT 6.1 i erase with fdisk the
second partition that is generated with FIPS, so i incerted the CD1 of
RH 6.1 i started the instalation when i arrive to druid partition i get
the problem of /boot since i want to instal LILO, the program says that
any amount of MB assigned to /boot is too big even 1 MB, so something is
not allowing me to insert the kernel, I tried then to erase the Windows
ME partition and sunddenly i can asign the /boot an the rest of the
partitions, i worked the LILO and finally i arrived to packed loading,
then the PC clogs and i must make a hot restart, when the PC comes back
i get the windows ME, so the druid was unable to erase the partition.
Some suggestions about it
