Please, do not take this to seriously, I'm a novice.
I have had the same problem as in 3. below long ago.
That time I had wrong settings in bios for that hard drive if I remember
correctly. I don't remember exactly what settings that changed, or can't
tell if this is part of your problem or not.
Hope this does not add more confusion.
