RE: RE: Linux Doesnt Install ---plzz help.

Hi...

Actually i want to re-install.. I had installed intially.. but now
it is not Booting... It stops at "LI_".
So i was trying to re-install(ie boot from the CD) it is Giving me
kernel panic... As i could figure out thru out the day...it cannot find the
root partition.. I dont know why..

What I fail to understand is.. when i boot from the CD .. why does
it have to check for the existing partitions and not forget all of them and
reformat my hard disk.. in which case there should be no Error...

Since i had not done custom installation but GUI installation of the
GNU Workstation.. I donot know what partitions it might have picked up then?

Veena.
