RE: Linux Doesnt Install ---plzz help.



Hi Veena,

If you want to install, simple boot the system with linux cd, at boot 
don't right any thing like "root=/dev/hda!" not needed.
Simple go ahead, you installation will autodetect your harddisk, and 
continue with the installation.
make /boot partition, will save your time ....(will be safe),
while lilo configuration, what ever is default works for most of cases, 

That's it.
