setting up ppp

I've noticed in the rhl7.3 there are no ifcfg-ppp or ifup-ppp files to
configure.  Can one just copy the previous versions files over or is
there another way to configure ppp from the command line.  Looking in
the reference manual it only mentions internet-druid.
