problems with PCMCIA ethernet card

Hi,

I'm having trouble with my PCMCIA ethernet card. I've searched for solutions and found quite a few people with similar problems, but none of the solutions have helped me, so far ...

I'm running Redhat 7.3 (no windows) on a NEC Ready 330t with a Dynalink L10BC LAN PC-card (which is reported to work with Linux)

when I boot up, or if I "pcmcia restart" I get one high beep and one low beep and the following error message: "cardmgr [2020]: config error, file './config.opts' line8: no function bindings"

line 8 of my config.opts file reads: "include port 0x100-0x4ff, port 0xc00-oxcff"

cardctl ident shows my card indentified in socket 0

ifconfig -a shows no information for eth0

I've tried forcing PCMCIA to load before network during startup and excluding irq11 in my config.opts file (it seemed that the pcmcia was trying to use irq11 which is used by "usb-uhci").
a "cat /proc/interrupts" before and after this change shows no listing for my pcmcia card.

any ideas?
