Hi Burnie,
Sorry that didn't work for you.
Bob's article was interesting, and does make a lot of sense. But the things I
have heard about RH 8.0, I think it's best to stick with 7.3 and keep it
up-to-date. If I keep the maintenance up with my 7.3, I'll have almost the
equilivent to 8.0 but, without bluecurve.
I hear they stripped MP3 Capabilities out of 8.0, and there is a quick fix for
it, but why should the user have to go through that just to play MP3's.
I say 7.3 is the best RH release so far.
And this is coming from a former SuSE and Mandrake user.
IMHO, you should go back to 7.3 and stick with what works.
