Betreff: KDE panel and Gnome desktop
Hello!
I have a little problem with RedHat 8.0.
I was logged in as root to do some
configuration/installation work. I used KDE.
I tried to run Nautilus from console (stupid idea, I
know...). When the Nautilus window appeared on the screen,
the desktop
seemed to change from KDE desktop (with all my icons) to
Gnome desktop. Now every time I login as root,
and want to use KDE, I get the KDE panel/K menu in the
bottom of the screen, that's OK, BUT the desktop is still
Gnome.
How is that possible? And how can I restore the KDE desktop?
For other users KDE still works fine.
Thank you:
Janos
