Hi,
I installed on my desktop win2000 and redhat-8.0. win2000 was installed
in a primary master hard drive which has two partitions:NTFS and
FAT32. Redhat was installed in a slave HD, Normally, from linux I
should be able to mount fat32 partition of windows. From root I use
mount /dev/hda2 /mnt/windows but there is an error which tells me to put a
specific type. I tried with option -t vfat. However, it did not work.
My second problem is to do with CD-RW (it is connectd as a secondary
master HD). I have a CD-RW Samsung SW-248. When I install redhat-8.0 or
boot my desktop, it regconizes CD-RW. However, when I am using KDE
enviroment. It does not recognize CD-RW although it detects my DVD (it is
connected as secondary slave HD)
I really appreaciate your helping me to resolve these problems.
Regards,
Tuan
